According to PC Magazine, Microsoft has decided to cut another feature from Windows Vista: PC-to-PC synchronization.

Synchronization now joins WinFS and Monad in the great heap of after-market addons for Vista. Although WinFS' status remains in Limbo, Monad will be available as part of the next edition of Exchange Server "in late 2006 or 2007".

So, without a sophisticated command line environment, a modern file system, or a way to synch my PC and laptop, what exactly is the big reason to upgrade my Windows 3.1 boxes?
